Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1970, Diploma in Applied Art, after studying Architecture and Urban Planning.
The photography of Robert Mellish is the fundamental position of the tension between the reality of the subject matter and the reality created by the photography itself, process and material, the author is primarily known as a photographer for his portraits dedicated to the female world.
Recent works are developed on a unifying theme that is at the same time expressed as an open field of dialogue relations between physical matter sought and found by chance and the illusion of reality created by the digital prints.
Currently lives and works in Lausanne in Switzerland.
